This visual effects (VFX) project embarks on an ambitious journey to merge the magic of CGI technology with the art of cinema, drawing up a cinematic teaser window to a cyberpunk universe of science

Inspired by the vanguard works of science fiction, and more particularly by the outstanding efforts of Ian Hubert, this teaser attempts to draw the audience inside a world attached to the fantastic through a visually arresting storyline focusing on a protagonist looking for answers in a progressively technological and intricate environment.

The key of the project lies in the integration of the green-screen-shot protagonist into a carefully planned CGI environment, together with simple rigs and advanced compositing, joined with dynamic lighting and camera tracking techniques to achieve a photorealistic effect that would make the line between real and computer-generated disappear.

It is intended that the creative nucleus of the project is an arresting visual surprise, telling a moving story rich in details and involving the audience in the entangled plot of its protagonist.

This visual journey aims to evoke from all the viewers a very broad specter of emotions, for it will keep you at the edge of your seat, longing to learn more of this enigmatic universe.

This teaser is produced through the most innovative film-producing techniques, from 4K ProRes camera recordings with stabilization to leading software tools, like Maya for 3D animation, Nuke for compositing, Photoshop for digital retouching, together with Logic, DaVinci, Premiere, and Final Draft for audio editing, coloring, video, and scriptwriting editing, respectively.
